DC/AFK.... why the F*** don't we have this yet??!?!?!??!?!?!

JUST finished a game (ranked) where a Sivir connected.. got her starting items.. then DC'd for the ENTIRE 20 minute game. Why on EARTH hasn't Riot changed that to a "loss prevented game" yet?!

It would be pretty simple. If one team has a champion that does NOT get higher then level 2, its a loss prevented. It's dumb enough that I have to put up with a 20-30 minute game thats a guaranteed loss.... but to get LP taken away.. is even more insulting.

And before the Riot defenders arrive with "well it happens to everyone equally"...even if it does, it SHOULDN'T!! the winning team can still keep their "win" the losing team just gets a loss prevented. That way both parties are happy. If you are on the side with 5 champions then you feel good because you got a free win. And if you are on the losing side, you feel better because at least you didn't lose LP.

I just don't understand why they are in freaking season 6, and this still isn't in the game.

So you would want to put an abusable mechanic where if you are facing a champion that you don't want to face in ranked, that you can AFK/disconnect and prevent the loss you are expecting? Which should probably make more people afk because they are either trolling (and now not getting LP losses) or rageing because they didn't get the champion they wanted.

While i think everyone would like some type of solution for something like this, yours wouldnt really work especially with how Hethalean explain it. It would get heavily abused and would just make people either leave so they dont suffer the lost, or troll to the point where they make someone else leave so they dont take the hit!
