I literally don't find any joy in any other mode except for ranked anymore.

I'm a long time normals player but as of late I cannot stand the types of games and players I'm getting in more 'relaxed' modes like normals and flex. I don't mind if you're having a bad game in normals, that's fine, that's to be expected because most people use normals or flex to warm up right or play for fun... but what I can't stand are players that just don't fucking try or give a damn. For these players...I absolutely despise them, I loathe their very existence. Not only are we not going to close out a game because they don't feel like it, they tend to keep me hostage as they play with their friends and I'm forced into playing a 35+ minute game that should have ended ages ago, only to lose because they said so. I fucking hate that.

Even if it's 'just a normals' game I want to win okay? I want to play fun things too now and then but i'm still here trying my best so can you respect that and reciprocate please? If you're one of those players that's ever like 'ehh i don't really feel like playing league of legends' then please, do me a favour and just don't queue up okay? Find something else to do, find something else you want to do because quite frankly what you're doing is just ruining my league of legends experience... and that's not very epic gamer of you. Worst thing about all of this... I still need to play normals for my arcade pass because I'm not going to grind ranked If I don't feel like I'm up to it.

tl;dr: If you're going to queue up for a game, ANY game, please have the decency to at least try and if you're playing with friends for the love of god, stop holding others hostage in a completely lost game that's like 8 - 46.

I don't really like to type unless it's in the form of a compliment or praise for my team as I usually communicate with pings but man, If I told you my sanity and mental has been the same after meeting these players I'd be lying. I'm going to explode one of these days I can feel it.

I mostly gave up touching norms save for occasional doses because each game is either solo team matching against premade teams for free loss or free wins depending on whichever team you end up in, or premade team stacking against another premade which you have 0 influence in as a solo player (same goes for the previous on the list), all while being constantly bombarded by an unparalleled level of bm and spiteful trashtalking which is amplified by the fact you're constantly dealing with high number premades.

I mean Ranked is dogshit, but at least I know duo is as high as it gets on the ally and opponent team so it will never get as bad as the shit in norms, and at least I have the illusion of having some impact instead of being the cannon fodder and dregs of the matchmaking being constantly trashed around with no care and no control.

My ranked experience has been quite pleasant and I know it's weird to say but I get really cooperative and focused teammates. I love that feeling when you don't have to type to know that your team is on the same wavelength. In normals though, it's absolutely how you described it. It's literally a cesspool of the worst types of players and I don't mean in just skill, I mean in attitude in general. It actually disgusts how people behave in normal games.
