Just noticed that there wasn't a full info board post about the new Morde rework so here you go. Links to the full info at the bottom but here are the abilities in plain text. No scaling's yet but they should be up when he hits the PBE.

Passive - Darkness Rise Mordekaiser’s basic attacks deal bonus magic damage. After three spells or attacks against a champion, Darkness Rise deals damage to nearby enemies and gives movement speed until Mordekasier is out of combat.

Q - Obliterate Mordekaiser slams down his mace, dealing damage in an area or bonus damage to a single enemy.

W - Indestructible The evil overlord absorbs 25% of damage taken and damage dealt. Casting once generates a shield with this value. Mordekaiser can cast again to consume 50% of the shield for health.

E - Death’s Grasp Passive: Mordekaiser gains 25% Magic Penetration Active: A deadly claw drags enemies towards him, dealing damage.

R - Realm of Death Mordekaiser banishes a single enemy champion to the Death Realm for a 7 second 1v1, stealing a percent of their core stats. If he kills his target, he consumes their soul, keeping their partial stats until they respawn."

I reserve the right to forestall my opinion until i have played a dozen games. As a Season 1 Morde main, the visuals look good. As a realist I expect there to be significant pressure by players to nerf him. ( also this pressure has nothing to do with him being OP or not, in my opinion there are a portion of the playerbase who just hate him.)

That e surely cant be 25% magic pen at level 1.

Not gonna lie i get a bit of a leoric vibe from him.

I have been looking for a main for sometime now. trying to find the juggernaut of my dreams. This. This rework. Has brought him to me, Honestly, the best part. Is I feel he will be viable both top and jungle. as all his damage is AOE and he has a shield/ heal, to keep him healthy. his ganking potential will be fantastic with his E and his ult.

He is going to be an overpowered nightmare balance. Prepare for a new champion that will spend the rest of its life gutted.

My question is, does his passive proc on jungle monsters and epic monsters or only on champs?

I like it both but I want to see more before giving a final judgement.

His kit and visuals look relaly promising but also like they could do more with it.

My problem with the rework is they took away his survivability. Depending on how long the cd is on his w he will be pushed out of lane and in a team fight he will be bursted. Making his shield an active makes him so much weaker and he'll never get a heal off.

Sounds like a Juggernaut that actually can survive against Ranged champions and has a lot of bare minimum impact in a game, two issues Juggernauts usually have. Also seems like he is still going to carry on the Juggernaut tradition of dominating the laning phase. I have some worry about the implications of his ultimate, but will have to see his numbers and play with him to have good judgement on it. For all you people that feel like you’re only losing because their team is better at supporting their carry than your team is at supporting you, you can finally prove yourself!
