Remember when Shen was too oppressive?
So they gutted him and remade an awful champion called Shen...
Now Sett exists, this guy is far more oppressive than Shen ever was. I'm not asking for Sett to be gutted or anything, I just want old Shen back...

Don't really ever remember him being repressive. and as for the person say he is cooler now. dont agree with that either.
Shen is way cooler now imo.
Oppressive is just a euphemism for "guaranteed to win lane even if you're a much better player because there's no skill expression or counterplay that you can do against it" AKA garen, nasus, teemo etc.
Honestly, Shen's dueling budget is a gimicky Q. Make his passive the barrier still but make Ki Strike a second passive to it, and Shen gets it any time he casts an ability that hits an enemy. Make Q a slash or stab in a line in front of him (crescent or line, up to you), make W a cool ability where Shen dissolves his body into the spirit realm for a duration, and he creates afterimage that mimics his attacks (similar to Wu's clone mechanics, but different in the fact its attached to him rather than a separate entity.) E stays the Dash and R shield gets lowered late game.
