Why rageblade is broken and deserves to be disabled in its current state
I just got out of a match that solidified for me why I will not be playing any more games until rageblade is changed or disabled in its current state and one of its abusing champions makes it into the champ select pool.
In my match that I have linked you will see that I laned against a Xin Zhao as Fiora. This lane was a clear difference in mechanical skill and I proved it by going 4-0 before 13 minutes, 2 of those kills was a result of a failed gank that I had spotted with a ward and prepared for. However something drastic changed at the 14 minute mark, Xin Zhao had completed his Rageblade and become no longer even able to be 1v1'd by me anymore. Prior to this it was a duel where I had to anticipate his CC, counter it with my W, and proceed to proc my passive marks on him. However, due to Rageblade's sheer stupidity in damage output on champions such as Xin Zhao and Jax etc. even though I was able to correctly anticipate his CC and combo, he still melted me by rushing one single item. I repeat, Rageblade was his only built item.
No single passive-effect item should change the outcome of a lane matchup so drastically, not when there is a clear gap in skill and mechanics between opponents. A single passive effect item turned my lane into a complete 180, where I went from using superior manuevering and mechanics to being melted in 3 seconds because "oh look I auto attack you and you die"
This is the opposite direction of "engaging" and "skill-based" gameplay you are striving to achieve Riot, please, only changing the price on this item will not stop it from continuing to be abused or a 1st purchase rush, its damage needs to be turned down or its mechanics turned into a cooldown-based active item so that it can be played around.
