As of Patch 5.3, would Lucian or Kalista be a better buy?

I'm an ADC main, in low gold and I wanna be able to play ADC in ranked, but first I want to increase that champion pool (i main jinx, graves, caitylin, and somewhat vayne) first. I know that lucian was nerfed hard long time ago and I never see people play anymore, even on the pro scene. Kalista on the other hand seems like and ideal ADC, with her kiting and all. So which ADC would be best to play in ranked solo que and skill cap of the champ doesn't matter to me. Just looking for he best ones with high potential for this patch. Thanks

P.S is runaans a legitimate build on kalista, I see how it makes sense to synergize with 'e', but it lowers your early game single target damage. I'm assuming building it depends on the situation you are in, like if you get fed early, their team comp, your team comp, stuff like that?

Graves is the strongest default ADC pick atm. You can pick him blind into almost anything and he's tanky and synergizes well with most team comps.

Runaan's is a legitimate item on Kalista. Like all items, there's a time for it and a time for BoRK.

so it's either Lucian or Lucian 2.0 .... i think the answer is clear when it's between those 2. If all ADCs are involved and not those 2 i would go with either Cait or Graves they do well in pretty much every match-up they go against

Kalista and Corki. Lucian is ok, but hes not as strong as he used to be, and hes not as strong a laner, imo, as Graves/Corki/Kalista. Just play Graves or Corki, then play Lucian, and you will see the difference in laning ability, and both of those have good late-games, too. Kalista and Corki just dumpster all over everyone if you get a lead. I personally play a lot of Lucian, just becuase i find him fun.

Graves is good, too. But you already said you play him, so I left him out. I just dont think Lucian's laning is anywhere near the other ones mentioned anymore, and a lot of solo Q can come down to laning. As long as you pick a champ that doesnt fall off hardcore, which most adcs don't. So pick the strong laner + good mid/late game, and Corki/Graves/Kalista has that.

I find lucian really fun though, and play him and Ezreal regardless. Even though if I really cared about max potential elo gain, I would probably just spam Corki, Graves, and Kalista. I mean hell, Corki can do what graves can do, every time his Q is off CD. I got hit by a bind other day, and a Corki 2-shot me with Q and Trinity proc. The Q hit me for 460 magic damage. Hes almost an AD assassin.

Corki is basically a longer ranged Graves, Varus is kind of irrelevent right now, but I've been playing him and I don't feel like switching swag And I am greatly offended by the fact you didn't put Ezreal on the list.
