New Duskblade mod + Trinity Force: OP Assassins and unforseen combo ruling games?
Recently, I've been noticing a trend of adcs to completely ignore crit items, life steal items, and I've been seeing Zed, Talon, and Kayn literally do VERY early game 2000+ damage, and have no counterplay. What has me worried is, this lack of counterplay exists before the game even is heavily underway, around level 7-8. The damage of a Duskblade + the damage doubling aspect of a Trinity is unreal on those champs. I can catch a zed or a talon in their ults, but I've been seeing some recently literally erase people who are counter built versus them, with only the slightest amount of feed from a random mid who fed them only 1 or 2 kills. I've been hit 600 damage by a Zed in one hit level 7, and once he's got duskblade, I've seen some 1000+ level 7 hits, and that's without the ULT. By 20 min, they're doing 2k damage to 160 armor champs. I've built 3800 HP Nami vs a Kayn with a similar build, and had that kayn literally shred 260 Armor and 3400 of that HP in the very second after he emerges from a wall, through a simple Q and an auto attack. Not even his Ult.
Has any Riot employees actually tested how Duskblade is now synergizing in champs who disappear regularly and a Trinity?
P.S. I've tried this on an Evelynn too, and saw similar results. I've even added a Manamune to her, to double hit the on hit procs of damage, and literally shredded a 4000 HP Nasus on tank build. It's not just the lethality. There is a serious ability to abuse Duskblade that not every champ can use, nor can they find an equivalent build in Crit builds, or magic, unless they have a single target kit that can enable it (like a Syndra's ult or Brand's when mult targets stand in a group).
When this change to Duskblade came out, I literally embraced it. Now, I haven't seen a single bad score by a Talon or Zed since it came out. And a team can't always peel for them either, given their kits and the fact teams are not always together.
