Earning Hextech Chests

as a relatively new player with a sorta small champion pool, I've found myself at a wall when it comes to Hextech crafting. I can get keys rather easily, but for chests is a completely different matter. I've gotten chests on all the champs I can play fairly well, so I've gotten around 8 or so. Now, however since obtaining new champions and playing them at a decent skill level (for unranked anyways) the steady stream of chests has become a trickle. I get that if you were able to obtain more than one chest per champ, pros would get so many boxes, but i wish there would be some sort of consecutive login reward, and maybe you could even get 1 box per week.

Thoughts?

They are already giving you things for being skilled at the game. Just be grateful they decided to give us anything. Before if you wanted a skin you had to pay for it. Now there is at least a way to get a skin without money even if it takes time to do.

Irelia Lux Ahri Leona are really the only ones that I'm not that bad at. Ezreal is pretty fun but I'm not all that good yet, and I'm looking to buy and get good at Kennen Janna and possibly Amumu .

Ok my suggestions would be leblanc fiora and gnar. Leblanc is kinda like ahri. Fiora has tons of outplay potential and true damage like irelia and gnar is an engage potential and game changing ultimate kinda like a mix of leo and ez.

Another thing is that if you have a friend who is good with a group of champions that you don't have or can't figure out how to play you can just group with them. If a party member gets an S you will get a chest for that champion even if you don't own them.

You DO get 1 box per week. The chests re load at a rate of 1 per week, and you can have up to 4 on back log.

Check your profile in the launcher, it tells you when your next chest is available.

but the problem im running into is that you can't get a box twice on a champ, and im out of champs which i can earn chests with, as i have a small champion pool

Unlock more champs. Play more champs. You only need to play 54/131.

It's easy to get into a rut. I started out many seasons ago as literally a one trick pony. Now I'm comfortable on roughly half the roster of champions. Does it mean I'm worthy if S rank in all of those yet? No, but I'm working on it.

I've recently found ARAMs to be a pretty nice place to farm out chests. In addition it forces you out of your comfort zone and to play other champions.

i have the same issue. i actually have lvl 6 mastery on EVERY champ i normally play Lux RekSai Blitzcrank Ziggs

and lvl 7 mastery on Nidalee and Morgana

i have lvl 5 on Darius and i THINK Khazix (but i might only be lvl 4 on him)

but i don't play them anymore

STILL, i have a box from EVERY one.

i own alot more champs than that. (but most of them i either got for free Tristana , Alistar , or were part of a bunch of 450 IP champs i bought once i hit lvl 30 and suddenly realized that i needed 16 champs to play ranked.

past that i have tried Ekko which i find really fun to play... but I'm really not that good at him at all Kindred who i REALLY wish i could play.. but she is too similar to and adc because she needs to auto and kite, i love her voice actor's her lore.. and everything about her.. i just cant play her outside of a bot game...
