I'm already getting frustrated and it hasn't even happened yet. Whenever the support or jungler's get something nice that's going to help out our role the other players come in and abuse the crap out of it until it gets nerfed. It happened with Sightstone, it happened with Spirit of the Elder Lizard, and It's going to happen with Cinderhulk. Last night I had a ranked game where my support and top laner both went smite so they could go challenging smite Cinderhulk. Unfortunately it was amazing and we won.

This is the last thing I need. Can't we do something so only those roles that the item is meant for can use it? I'm just tired of getting to a place where I enjoy Support or Jungle then it gets nerfed to the point I hate the role again.

Our current thoughts on Cinderhulk involve changing it so that it deals more damage to jungle monsters than other units to bias its effectiveness in favor of junglers. I believe we'll be testing that next week, see if it hits the mark and whether other or alternative changes would also be appropriate.

fuck you support has been broken as shit since thresh came out. Don't even compare my role to support.

you've all had it so easy for the past 2 or more seasons don';t even. i STILL play alistar with zero issues and its 2015. Don't even give me that "oh as soon as support gets something nice." The only roles ANYONE has a right to bitch about are top and jungle because of how shit the meta has been for them the past 2-4 years in terms of champion pools and itemization.

Someone like myself who usually plays tanks or bruisers it's been a piece of fuck all trying to play the jungle before cinderhulk finally existed. Now I can finally start playing olaf again and some nocturne and some maokai and rammus. And it actually fucking works. Instead of "oh the adc bought fucking IE at X minutes because they got 1 or 2 kills in lane herp derp now how do I take dragons safely herp derp"

Fuck adc and fuck assassin meta.

May it never happen again where 3 assassins and 1 adc are what a team comp is in this game. MAY IT NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

Just make the bonus hp of cinderhulk stack with large monsters 1 monster 3% bonus health 2 monster 6 % bonus health at 10th monster u gain 25% bonus health

Or less scaling per monster if this item remains abusable by laners

I only see 2 solutions for this:

-Nerf the fuck out of Cinderhulk (welcome back Vi/Lee/Rek/J4)

-Reduce the maximum quantity of Smite to one per team.

IMO they just need to make sunfire appealing to laners. CInderhulk is just straight up better and gives you a low CD summoner spell and another farming option.

Yeah. I wish there was an easy solution. Maybe someone smarter than me can come up with it. The problem with 1 smite per team is trolls. You know people will take smite just to piss off the jungler.

I had a Idea, not sure if anyone tought about it. You can only buy the Cinderhulk when you have Smite as a Summoner Spell right?. So why dont limit the Smite Spells per Team to 1?. So only one Summoner per Team can pick Smite. Sure there is the Chance that the Toplane picks it and refuse to give it to the Jungel, but then you can Report the Top-Lane and the "Troll" in that Case gets Punished right?.

I only saw that you plan to move the Damage and all that Stuff and i tought "why not simply limit the Smites per Team?". That would, in my Opinion, solve the Problem and still leaves the Jungle Tanks in a Good Spot so they are still usefull

@Ahri Desu: Not broken, usefull. If they get nerfed again there is again no reason to choose a Tanky Jungel like Seju or something over VI or Xin.

i dont remember sightstone getting nerfed, or at least, straight up nerfed. They nerfed the base heath but made it cheaper to compensate. then they also removed the "can only use 2 charges at one time".

the problem with item 3751 is that its too good with the new jungle items. tank junglers (and others) used to only be effective with the purple item, since it was the only way to clear. the sunfire passive helped solve that problem and the mana issues with it, opening possibilities for the item 3715 item or the item 3706. but even in this situation, it probably wouldnt be as useful as an actual summoner spell. but then they added 25% bonus health, making it one of the best scaling items in the game. take away the %health increase and top laners wont want it anymore.

ive taken it support before. for support, its feast or famine - if you do well, you snowball super hard. item 3401 + {{item:3709} + item 2049 gives you a massive amount of HP for 5000 gold. if you dont, you die repeatedly because summoner 3 is such a useful summoner to stop assasins or fed carries.

My solution would be to nerf Smite when out of jungle, using it on a champion would require both charges and it stops cooling down for 5 seconds if a minion dies within 600-800 range, but that can only happen once every 10 seconds greatly raising it's cooldown in lane without making it unusable,
