Swain is actually really good in this meta cuz he's one of those weird DPS mages like Kayle but tanky and a lot of cc. I don't have experience playing him but when I face one its cancer

Swain is stupid powerful. He wins games. Also, they gave me Jinx just like I predicted and I REFUSE TO PLAY HER. At least it wasn't Vayne.

Swain is the kind of champion that goes in 1v4 with Zhonyas and gets a triple kill with the 4th person running away tail between their legs. Man I hate Swain.

he does a lot of damage but not that much and his damage tics per second for up to...if you really have 900 ap on swain, you're going to die anyway, his ap ratio max is 2.4 + .2 per second * 1.2 from E's effect

if you have 900 ap, that comes to 2160 on a single target if they get hit by all 3 of his abilities, then 2560 as a rough estimate from the 20% extra and of course his ult active the whole time will give at least 3 procs for a total of 810 + 2 additional procs of his ult from zhonya's

he can effectively kill the carry with over 3k magic damage at that amount, BUT

consider that at 900 ap, he will have almost no defensive stats at all, no move speed, no bonuses to hp and of course, all of his damage is magic damage so items that reduce that are going to hamper him

Swain is great man. Take him top lane and make everyone miserable. If they come in to farm, NO! Q E their faces and watch them struggle to get away while you pelt them with Aa's. That said, get ready for learning how to last hit with him. Almost as bad as Anivia.
