You just need 1 basic attack to get rid of his shield, am I misinterpreting something here?

One basic attack and you gotta back off, in lane that is. Once team fights start, you will have to chip away all his shield and the shield also gets refreshed once he ults. With the immense lifesteal and 100% crit, it will be hard to take him down.

Well if you're playing a champion with good poke then it's pretty easy to poke his shield down, and in lane he can't regenerate his shield faster than you can deal out some damage, or at least that's what I've seen.

Lol, if he uses his wall to block poke that's fine. He won't have it 5 seconds later to stop any of the million projectile ults your team could throw at the enemy.

Well you could try targeting him with CC right when he casts Q3 so he cant follow up. You could try forcing fights in the jg where he can't safely charge up his Q or E. You could try not balling up and giving him a 4 man initiation. You could be taking advantage of the current meta and ending the game before he gets 6-slotted (because his early game is awful regardless of what you believe)

I love when people complain about his personal shield when that is the easiest part of his kit to deal with (and his weakest ability)

As Anivia I'd prefer a zed over a yasuo.

She's really the only mid I play, his mobility really screws me over. I don't even care about his windwall. I can fake it out just fine. He's just such a slippery little bastard with his E. I have an easier time catching a fizz.

And I would rather face either of them over mages like Lux/Kennen/AhrI who just sit under turret until they get a gank because they have absolutely no incentive to take risks in lane as they are infinitely more useful in team efforts than either of the champs you just mentioned
