I'm not a very good ADC, but I'm currently trying to practice Tristana. I do well against most ADC's but for whatever reason I struggle super hard against Lucian
I can't trade with him because of his passive, and not only that, but if he's good he'll just poke me down with Q when I try to farm. And once he gets Essence Reaver he just dashes all over the place and I can't really seem to do anything.
Ńord1 votesHis Q is pretty easy to dodge mainly because it's not instant and because it's telegraphed. You know that if lucian is positioning himself next to a minion and you happen to be in front of him, he is going to Q you. With regards to his double shot, his range is pretty low (500 last time I checked) and with that in mind, you can poke him but he can't poke you back (especially with long ranged adcs~ a la caitlyn). If Lucian tries to dash and poke back, he'll use up his mana pretty quickly, meaning it is not a good way to trade long term on his part. If he's oom, he can shell out a lot less damage than he would otherwise since he relies on his abilities to consistently activate his double shot. Essence reaver gives him cdr but gives very small mana regen. With regards to his ult, walk at an angle away from the direction it's pointing (even better if you have boots which will help with Q avoidance). You don't even need to worry for his w since it does nothing if he's not building ap.
