A way to curb Rakan’s powerful engage

This is an extreme change, but considering the large amount of complaints around his uninteractive engage, why not do something crazy.

Currently his W is reliant on the current amount of movespeed he has to be successful with it, but with the extreme change, it could be reverted back to how it was originally as a fixed speed.

The idea would be that Rakan would only be able to use his W if he has used his E before hand. This would curb his extreme engage potential and make the use of his ult and W function more as peel tools than engaging tools.

This change would Telegraph to the opponents when Rakans W is online and would give them time to react appropriately. I understand the W and R are used in conjunction, but a while ago there was a patch where Rakan l could not use other abilities after casting R for one second I believe? Don’t quote me.

While this may be a big change to his W, this could also allow for the potential for other positive changes on his kit, like his base stats for example.

Anyway, I understand that this is extreme and would change the way Rakan is played, but if we as a community think his engage is too sudden and is unhealthy for the game overall, we must be willing to put forth new ideas to change what we percive is wrong and not just circlejerk about how toxic a champion is without any proper input as to how they can be made healthy.
