Pantheon and his Identity, think Riot would fancy this idea?

Riot has acknowledged that Pantheon could use a VU, but they are having the problem of keeping him as a Spartan, but making sure that we can tell he is from Mt. Targon. As of now Mt. Targon is a place of people of demi-gods (Ex. Diana, Leona). What if Pantheon was a man who was fighting for his right to become godlike, and that to prove his worthiness he has to many dangerous rites of passage to be considered a demi-god like Leona and Diana. In a way his story is like Hercules, but without the killing of his family or doing the tasks for penance. Throughout his mission to become god like, pantheon has trophy's of what he has accomplished. He might have a animal fur as a cape, a tooth as a spear head, bits of a insect shell meshed together for a shoulder pad, the horn of an animal hanging on his hip. He would be a wanderer that would be looking for something else to slay, be it man or beast, it does not matter if what he has done is considered good or evil, its all part of his peoples belief of how to become a god among men. I think it would be interesting to see Pantheons history though what he carries on his person to become what he seeks.

I'm not sure if he would look correct, maybe too many colors on his person because of all the spoils of war he has collected?

Any thoughts on this?

Only if he still wants to be a baker.

Also, this makes him seem a bit too much like a 'hunter', and we have Rengar for that.

I think I've noticed the major flaw in your idea Angyal.

It's that you have included lore into your idea of Pantheon. We all know Rito hates lore now.

EDIT: Thought you might want REAL feedback..

Pantheon is a soldier. He is Spartan. Not the people, but the actual definition of spartan. He has a speedo a shield and a spear. So adding things, while cool looking, wouldn't be Pantheon imo.

Too much, he becomes monster hunter Pantheon.

He doesn't really need to achieve anything more imo. He believes that war is the most best art form possible and he represents that portion of mt. Targon. He shouldn't be that concerned with religious affairs like leona or diana is about. He should be the ultimate upholder of the ideal of his people that war is the best form of honor and art.

how about one of those "started from the lowest low and ascended to legend" stories?

He starts off as a slave, who then gets sent to the arena to fight for the entertainment of others. after besting every opponent sent his way he earns his freedom, only then to join the military, before going to war, earning him more prestige as his valor makes a bigger name for himself. War ends yet his addiction to carnage and mayhem causes him to lead his soldiers to revolt in a military coup, establishing himself as leader of his people. Now he's a warlord.

I don't like the idea of Pantheon trying to become a god, since he was chosen as the best fighter and mostly does it out of a sense of duty from what we can tell of Leona's lore. I think he just does it for his people and not for really any other reason.

Unless that theory that Targon is where all the former Shuriman people migrated to, thus the Sun loving religion, and the ascension ritual still exists in some way and Pantheon has chosen to try and attempt it or at the very least seek it because he needs it for his people.
