I put this in gameplay because I dunno the best spot for it to be seen, but TFT is so relaxing and fun, it's the first game mode I love and makes me enjoy league again.
I really hope if anything you make Aram a temporary game mode and switch out for TFT.
TFT was always going to be a permanent addition to league. There was never a question.
It will be permanent. It is the only mod unique and distant enough from league normal gameplay to justify the "s" in "Riots Games".
If your going to replace a gamemode atleast swap it for.... whatever the 3v3 gamemode is, the one set in the shadow isles. 3v3 has a smaller playerbase so much better to replace. even if TFT is not super popular as a 4th permanent gamemode they could always launch it as a stand-alone game with its own launcher. ######you also wouldn't have to worry about half the spaghetti that could affect it. Honestly I wouldn't mind a second launcher for fun modes like TFT and darkstar hook-dodge, it would really help to untilt.

First off, it's not a MOBA. It's a turn based strategy games that goes way back to the 90's, to games like Suikoden (GREAT GAME) and Final Fantasy Tactics (GREAT GAME). I am sure there were others as well, but turn based strategy games have been around longer than most of the people playing TFT have been alive. (Hell prolly longer than the clueless ones who created this have been alive) All Riot and other developers are doing is recycling a game mode ( and calling it something else) that has been around for decades. Why RIOT chose to implement a very old game design, although very addictive and fun, tells me that the leadership has no vision whatsoever and those of us who want to play the actual original game modes that League has provided us over the years are being trashed. I personally loved Ascension and Hexakill and of course URF, but RIOT seems to think they are being innovative when they are basically "jumping the shark" with this bullshit.
First off I know what MOBA is, not seeing your point I'm bringing up a pointless point.
2nd clearly you're upset about them recycling old ideas. Ok. Name one game out now PC or Council wise that HASN'T been recycled and renamed. Who gives a crap , I dont care if they make a game mode that looked like Mario and called I'd league land and had yasuo jumping onto sweres.
It's fun, it's better than the old version, it's on a game we all play (clearly) and I like it.
As far as the rest YES, I loved ascension, and this other mode before ascension they threw under the rug where you fought for control over towers. But I like TFT, and so do others, BUT I will say I don't like the idea of ranked TFT.
The reason I like it now is because I dont have to LOSE souly because my teams throw, if I lose or win it's partly on me partly on rng. I'm fine with that. No one's toxic, no flaming. And I enjoy that.
Not to mention there's not 40 people dodging making your 1 minute wait turn into 10.
It is meant to be one. Reading all of the info on the modes might help you know that.
