I guess this could be considered a bug
Been having this issue after patch 9.16 or whatever is the most recent (i never pay attention) anyway after the update whenever i close my client i can't log back in unless i reinstall the client offline.

i have the same issue, but i play on windows. I don't have to reinstall I just have to restart my PC. either way it's obnoxious.
same issue since days
i always have to reinstall the whole game when i closed the game it just wont start, no processes running, no logo appears, nothing happens
did all kind of tips ever entried but fk it, thought it might be cuz i dont have the new client, but cant force to get the update somehow
The same exact thing is happening to me and I also have a Mac. The new client completely destroyed the ability to even get on. Aside from that re-downloading the game takes about 3 hours because of how slow it is. This happened on both my computers and I can't even play anymore which sucks.
Guys please upvote this so riot can see it sooner, i believe the higher the vote the more it's "prioritized"
Especially since we all are having this issue.
