Its not Assassins that are the problem... Its Riot's duplicity!

There have been a lot of complaints about "Assassins" but they are not the problem. I have given up on Riot ever doing anything to nerf/balance Zed, Nidalee, Rengar fairly because these champions make big flashy plays and that is exactly what Riot want to make more interesting LCS plays and make more money that way through promotion, ticket sales and skin sales.

However the problem is not simply limited to assassins such as Zed. The problem is simply that a lot of AP mains like myself are simply insulted that Riot gives AD champions BETTER and more EFFICIENT items while subsequently nerfing core AP items that we need to remain competetive.

I think a lot of people have noticed Riot's complete double standards in trying to placate the Mage and AP community. When you say that Deathfire Grasp was toxic on champions such as Ahri BUT then you introduce an item which is very similar and AD based for AD assassins, item 3147, I think its fair that some of us may feel a bit cheated by that behavior.

What can Riot do to help balance the division between AP and AD and I do not believe that reducing the cost on item 3157 would not go far enough. AP mids NEED another armor item now that Riot took the AP off item 3025 so there are no real armor options to counter the AD's getting easy item 3155 and item 3156.

Not that true for Rengar, the best plays he can make are from jumping from brush and it's not that crazy nice to see. Full AD rengar was practically never played in competitive it was always a weird form of tank rengar.
