What is a leap and what is a teleport?
I get downvoted when I say Kassadin has a leap instead of a teleport. Can some nice gents in here please describe the differences to me if there is any?

Really, kassadin has a blink. Here's the breakdown:
Blink: Instantly transports your champion a small distance. Your champ does not spend any time travelling, he just appears in the new spot Examples: Kassadin's R, Ezreal's E, Katarina's E, the REACTIVATION of LeBlanc's w, flash
Dash: Transports your champion quickly over a small to medium distance. Your champ spends some time actually travelling, and can be interrupted by knockups or knockbacks Examples: Shen's E, Lucian's E, the ACTIVATION of Leblanc's w
Teleport: After a brief channel, instantly teleports your champion a potentially very long distance Examples: Twisted Fate's R, Shen's R, the summoner spell teleport
You can leap across your room. You cannot teleport.
TY
Dash and Flash my friend.
Dashes have traveling times, Flashes do not.
Graves' Quickshot for example has him rush forward. Ezreal's Arcane Shift however instantly teleport/blink/etc. to the target location, with no travel time in between.
