So, what if we did remove Crit...?

I've seen the idea mentioned before. And I realize the ADC topic is hot right now. So I want to ask.

Hey ADC mains, if crit was removed, and you lost alllll that randomized damage. What kind of interesting buffs would make your Mains MORE FUN, to play? Surely you can have your kit be touched up with interesting mechanics right?

ADC's aren't always 2 dimensional click and hit champs. They have interesting bits to them, and I think improving these differences would be fun, giving them more ways to deal damage. Styles of it, rather than critting for 2.5times 70% of the time.

On the other hand, I have heard people menion that this would make ADCs AD casters... Mages using a different stat. ( Corki Ezreal cough) I personally disagree. We have many small mechanics built around AA's, some ammo type systems, some stack proc systems. My favorite is Varus, because popping his light feels like it means something. I think there is room for this change, lack of crit wont make you less of an ADC.

Let me know what you think, and what ideas you have. ( I think twitch would be cool with a % missing health proc on his passive, if all 5 stacks are present. ((25% of that damage instantly at reaching 5 stacks, the other 75 when it ends. ) Him being a Poisonous ADC would be fun, but I dont want him to be Teemo of course. Gods no.

TL;DR Riot removes crit, ADC's get meaningful kit upgrades to make them more INTERESTINGLY UNIQUE, what would you have changed?

The problem is some champs have crit/crit ratio based things in their kit Tryndamere building crit with fury maxing at 35% Ashe Frost Shit bonus damage and slow scaling off crit Yasuo Double crit and temporary armor mitigation after Last Breath Xayah Bonus scaling on Clean Cuts Kindred bonus damage missing health threshold for Mounting Dread Jhin I am NOT putting all the shit for his passive here And there are probably more in not event thinking about

I just don't understand people wanting to remove crit. Why the hate of RNG? I just don't understand it, crit is a perfectly balanced mechanic.

There wasn't a third option, so I simply voted Down with RNGesus, cause it kinda translates into other aspects of the game. Otherwise, Crit has to remain, but the "crit chance" might need to be looked at more carefully, when someone hits 3 Crits in a row with only 10%Crit Chance and it has nothing to do with an ability like MF's Q passive.

I suppose I should give up at this point. Everyone wants to debate what would happen if we did remove crit.

Not what we might do if we did. I'm asking if anyone can come up with improvements for kits when the damage is lost from crit. Nothing else.

It's a good thing to consider what items are left over in the aftermath, but they aren't the focus in the slightest. Yes, they will probably build more pen.

But ADC DPS depends on AD x AS x crit chance x crit multiplier. And lethality as well. Their AA scales off of all of those st the same time, multiplying their damage. The best combination of damage is raising each one as high as you can.

Removing two of those will definitely cause people to have higher amounts of what's left.

But my whole focus is supposed to be, what kit changes can be made. Every ADC already has to reposition, to be safe or give chase. Vayne wants to stand in a slightly different spot from Varus, but it's still the same when you try your hardest to boil it down.

Everyone is freaking out about the aftermath, and not even trying to come up with solutions. Or even sticking to the subject I posted, kit changes they would want.
