just wanted to remind everyone i, a top main for 5 years who has played bot about 40 games in a total of 5 YEARS, was placed against imaqtpie bot lane.
i was autofilled and no one wanted to switch.
that game right there tilted me for the next 2 weeks
i couldnt get it out of my head.
not only was i dumpstered, but i managed to ruin OTHER Peoples games as well BECAUSE i was tilted from getting autofilled.
the cycle most likely went on

If you get auto-filled, your objective isn't to get as many kills as possible - it's don't die to your lane opponent, get a kill only when you can safely get it, and don't get crammed into your tower. You often should ignore worrying so hard about CS if worrying about CS endangers you and your tower, and wait for other lanes to pull ahead and have them help you out. If you don't die to the enemy ADC, they don't get fed unless they roam.
Also, if an ADC and Support, no matter how noobish they are, doesn't know how to deal with a Blitzcrank, that's a problem of their abilities as a whole, not their skills as an ADC. Blitzcrank isn't new, and hasn't been new for at least 8 years. People know how to avoid getting hooked, and if you're not using minions as little meat shields, then something more pressing is wrong. There's absolutely no excuse for people not knowing how to hide behind minions and avoid Blitz.

This is what I've been saying all along... I'm a support main and I can't stand autofill. I didn't play ranked for 2 weeks I think now, because I got swarmed with autofill players and I dropped from d1 to d4. I wanted to go insane. Every game was "sry, I got autofilled, 0/6/0". Can't tell you how many players are jungle one tricks and then they get autofilled adc or anywhere else and they're up against mains of that lane and it's an auto loss. It literally didn't matter how I played, I lost every game. The sad thing is, even after all these losses, I still have a 52% win rate, got to diamond 2 with a 60%. I'm still so tilted, even after 2 weeks break, Idk when I'll start playing ranked again.
Yea I would rathe the que times be a bit longer than have any position autofilled outside of support,,,

Adc is my worst role and i have been able to beat gold and plats etc. What it comes down to is knowledge normally. Caitlyn has 650? Range i believe whereas Jhin only has 525-550. Caitlyn has more poke availability than Jhin and so he has to play safer. Caitlyn just wins that hands down seeing as her traps double her range giving her clear advantage. Ashe would have been a better pick against the caitlyn same as Miss Fortune. Also, side step the Blitz pulls. They are easy.
Yes i know you were not the adc, but in theory they should have been fine. Autofill does not mean you suck at a role. Just means you are not in your main role. Try some normals and gain some game knowledge to help them out next time perhaps.
well are you sure it wasn't because both Jhin and Brand have no way to dodge blitz hooks besides walking? If he aims it correctly, they're screwed, especially if he grabs brand first,
It's just how the game works. This season it's autofill, last season it was dynaQ, before that it was inting, etc.
It's a team game, not a 1v1 game; no matter how good you are, you will lose because of your team sometimes.
