Would you quit the game, try out the new reworked version of your champion, or main a new champion?
Me personally, I would probably quit if they reworked Jayce. I have been maining him for a year now, back when he considered a 'Dumpster Champion', and I have 900 games on him.

These champs changed quite a bit. I hear Urgot's upcoming rework is gonna be very different as well. Sure yorick still summons Ghouls, but its not the same like they were.

I love the new Poppy, but she does not play too similarly to Ye Olde Poppy other than running headlong into a team because she does not care.

DKM Bismarck3 votesYorick's playstyle was flipped 180 degrees Shen - agreed Ryze - agreed Talon - his playstyle changed a lot as well, he lost lots of lane juke potential with losing his blink, he became a lot more pokey and his level 2 is no longer the worst thing in the game. It's actually one of the strongest early games now but unlike before he doesn't scale overly well. A good old Talon scaled very well. A good new Talon scales okay. His playstyle changed, but for the better. He is a lot healthier than before.

DKM Bismarck1 votesHe can teamfight, his poke isn't free anymore, he doesn't have the same sustain he used to have, he is actually a stronger splitpusher now, he has pseudo cc whereas before he had one small slow, on top of keeping a slow in his kit.

Im A Jayce God1 votesThe leak mentioned the rework changes to him, I dont remember all of them but I do know his ult brings the enemy to him like a blitz pull, and urgots chest is a bunch a teeth chewing on the enemy.

The closest champ that I can equate is Azir, but I've accepted that he needs a rework for a long time now.

UseLubePlease3 votesYes, but that was after the nerf when he was released and alot of people stopped playing him, Dyrus was one of few who knew how to play him and realized how to play him still so he kept on it and people got on the Jayce Train more after realizing he's not bad, you just need to learn how to play him.

main back in the day. They DID rework my champion. Three times. EVERY TIME was a horrible garbage fire that only made him worse. They butchered his lore... ruined his gameplay... briefly made him OP then nerfed him into the ground over it... and at the end of the day he's no more popular or good than he ever was.

Point is... they HAVE reworked some of my favorite champions into piles of feces with my old, beloved champ's face drawn on it and then told me "there you go! We made them better! You're welcome!".

UseLubePlease1 votesSoraka main too here... Reworks upon reworks upon nerfs.. I just learned to adapt my playstyle over again, rework, then 2 nerfs? Build spellvamp raka, spellvamp removed? Build Movement Speed, Pure AP Raka for 700+ heals. Still, none were as fun as Spellvamp Raka, especially with the center circle 200% dmg which required alot of skill to hit (predicting movement, locking them in directions they can move, then timing when to drop it l like its hot and hope they don't learn the counter of turning around and walking away.)

UseLubePlease1 votesAny slowing items like will add the slow percentage to any slow abilities you already have up to 85% max. I'm not sure if this was intentional by riot by I would put my money it was by the fact there's a cap on how high the slow addition can get.
Get one on Soraka and you will have heavier slows on Q, and slow on E's to make it easier to proc your rooting, plus 75 ap to make you Q heal 7.5 hp more for seven seconds and some health that will help in slight pinches. Its much more kit friendly, but if your going for Heal Raka, a
would be a smart pick. 120ap means 60 HP more on each W and the 35ap more from cap alone and 
making it so you have 17 more hp just from items. But me? I usually go then

as hypocritical as this sounds to tell you to get Watchers, I get 
for the early game which doesn't last long and sense people know to focus the raka, and any hp you lose is a massive loss of HP your team needs for a heal.

I still played a bunch of other champs but after losing my best competitive mains that got me to D2 during season 5 I lost interest.
I uninstalled the game months ago after not playing much during the abysmal season 6 and season 7 not being any better. I still check the boards from time to time.

They made it a charge system and adjusted the heat buildup accordingly. By and large, a net positive for rumble. Further, Renekton had adjustments to his damage and rage buildup in mid-season 5 I think.
Season 3 was a long, long time ago.
The point was that, until recently, Renekton hasn't been LCS worthy for the most part. Rumble, on the other hand, has been consistent with the exception of that period where it was all Ekko/Shen/Gnar.
Riot doesn't touch Renekton much because they consider him the standard to which they should compare all other top laners.
The "Renekton bar" was complete bullshit and was a poor way to balance top lane. Almost anyone, including Rioters, will tell you it was stupid. If you didn't play Mundo or Shyvana (and maybe like 1 other champion I'm forgetting about) into Renekton, you were throwing the game. To say Renekton is still the bar is narrowminded imo; the current situation is hardly comparable to that level of bullshit. If anyone has been the bar for top lane for the past season, it was probably Ekko. Ekko singlehandedly forced several picks out of the meta when Tankko erupted in pro play. Renekton did the same thing, but that was a long time ago, and I severely doubt he is capable of doing that now.
