"Relax, it's only normals"
I still lose 20 minutes because you go first time a champion, but you build off-meta.

And? As long as they're still trying to win, I don't see a problem here.
Because most probably end up losing since they are first time with that champion, and don't even build what you're supposed to build on that champion.
Then play ranked.
I don't want to demote to bronze V by playing with monkeys.
It's better to have tried and failed than to have never tried at all.
If you don't play Ranked at all it's no better than being Bronze 5. You are more likely to have team that plays within the meta and takes the match seriously in Ranked than you do in Normals, but it sounds like you treat Normals with the same seriousness as one would Ranked (and you aren't getting any rewards for it!).
Not really the same, but I do treat normal pretty serious. Also I tried ranked and I don't want to try it again.
and where else should you first time champions then?
Did you even read what I said? I said first time a champion AND build off-meta on them
and that's a problem why?
where else should they do it? in ranked?
If you play a champion first time then build what you're supposed to, then if you know the champion you can go the total opposite of the normal build for all I care.
so i'm not allowed to test out a new Champ with an Off-Meta Build in Norms because the almighty SonicMaster02 said so?
No, it's because you waste the time of 4 people by doing so.
i have had enough feeders that feed on their main champion.
and you're fcking SIlver 5, it's not like you're pro yourself.
Did I said I'm a pro? No, but playing a champion like you're supposed to when you play it first time is common sense.
when you feel comfortable with it i see no problem

Not necessarily. First time I ever played Kog'Maw was as mid ap. Fairly off-meta but I saw someone do it so I wanted to try it and you know what, it went just fine. I think we lost but I didn't feed and I discovered a new champ that I can do ok on in a role that I don't play so that I have something for when I forced there.
Because most probably end up losing since they are first time with that champion, and don't even build what you're supposed to build on that champion.
"Supposed to"... I hate that idea that there are specific builds that are tied into champs as the only viable build. Who gives a crap if someone wants to try out something in a normie. If they aren't toxic and are trying to win the game then that's literally the point of normals is try out new things and improve your gameplay on certain champions. We all have to start somewhere.
Normals is the arena for practicing new champions, or off-meta builds/strategies. If you're going to play normal games, you're going to have to put up with people who are potentially unfamiliar with their champion or win condition. If you want an environment where people generally do this less, Riot has implemented a queue for you. It's ranked draft.
I understand people try new things, but for the love of the god when you're first time a champion build regularly on them until you learn them.
Relax, it's just normals. bruh.[slayer-jinx-wink]
If you don't want normals, or rankeds
Go and fucking play intro bots
