Matchmaking needs to be fixed

I've been losing way too many games because of people that want to do "X or feed", trolls, negative personalities that want to give up in champion select, and people who don't know the basics. I have no idea how to completely carry a team of five but if I've been losing so many games, shouldn't I be paired up with someone that could carry more weight? Right now the matchmaking system HAS to see me as a bad player with all these losses yet I keep getting paired with the same types of players who overextend, always get caught, never ward, take dragon over towers, and etc. This season I was able to get from S3 to G5 because I had a string of chill teammates who didn't rage or troll. Once I played a game in G5 I got rewarded with trolling, feeding, and the works. Unless I duo queue I don't see my gameplay making much of an influence on this "Solo Queue" when I get all these negative "GG WE LOSE" people in my matches.

If you truly are a [insert league] player, you should be able to carry low elo games.

4 people feed 5 people, but one person should be good enough to carry out and win. lol Id like to see you 1v5 while 4 other people are feeding those 5.

People don't take into consideration this is a TEAM BASED GAME. The way to win is TEAMWORK. If 80% of my team doesn't know what they are doing, it literally doesn't matter how good you are, you are going to lose.

First of all, the match-making system is working as intended. Something I noticed after looking at your match history and lolKing is that you play a lot of different champions for only one or two games. I would recommend learning between 3-5 champions (one per role), and pick champions who can cover multiple roles. For example, Lulu can be played mid top or support, Ryze can go mid or top, etc. Learn a few champions and ONLY play them.

Another thing I noticed is that you have a lot of seemingly random mastery/rune pages that I assume you "cookie-cut" from other guide sites. One things you can do is read through your masteries, and try to consolidate them into 6-10 pages, and reorganize your rune pages to 4 per champion (since you will learn 5 champions, 20 pages).

In terms of the games you play, I noticed a few itemization issues and in the games you lose, you tend to die..a lot. For your current ranking, your cs actually isn't that bad, but it could be better.

So overall, I understand that it's frustrating to get paired with trolls, feeders, etc. but there are things you can be doing to win more of these games, and improve as a player (to ultimately climb). Therefore, I will say that even though the system might seem unfair, it is working as intended (isn't broken).

that's what they all say "oh don't worry its working just as normal". I recently talked to someone at league who explained the matchmaking system to me. They like when people are around a 50% win percentage. So if you start to rise above 50% they will throw you with some noobs for a while so it drags you back down to 50%. A real rip off for people who actually don't troll, and put lots of time and effort into league. There is no way that is not rigged, the guy is still arguing with me that its fair and makes sense, but it definitely does not. I carry most games still to lose due to noobs that shouldn't be playing at my skill level. Its not fair to me and its not fair to them. They aren't properly learning and I am getting my "skill level" taken down and down more and more by realistically the matchmaking system. It is impossible to win in this game when the playing field is unfair. I just played yesterday and find out 3 people on my team are only level 13, and barely know anything. I am far beyond level 30, but the guy at league claims that the matchmaking system sees me in the same "skill level" as them....... I am sorry but that 100% is broken. You can go look at my lolking and any other stats you want, I truly do carry most games. I have a good handful of champs I stick too, that way I can win.

Id just really like to hear your opinion on that tTop. Just look at my stats, and try to explain to me that I am on the same "skill level" as someone at level 13, that doesn't know what cs is yet, and doesn't even know what champs go to what lanes. I am sorry but the system is majory broken, and does not in anyway show real skill.

You could put Wayne Gretzky or Micheal Jordan with a team of 4 year olds, against a team of pros, and it doesn't matter that they are the best in the world, they are still going to lose because its a team game and the 4 year olds aren't on the same skill level as them. Of course in Riots eye's I guess that gretzky and Jordan would be bronze 5 because they cant carry while their team feeds the other team. lol please Im dying to hear your logical response to this.

Anyone can answer, do you agree or disagree with my logic, and why. Don't be cocky and say I just suck blah blah I know I don't . I made a super valid point and I think Riot doesn't have an answer so they just send their senior members down to belittle people like me. Im all ears.

I see your stats and without going into your ranking or anything, your stats aren't that great. I see a lot of negative win rates and your highest ranked win-rate is 44% over almost 70 total ranked games played (according to lolKing, which can be incorrect). Your builds are outdated, there are games where you have under 100cs at 20 min, and you don't ward nearly enough.

Most of the time I see you rushing BT on adc, which used to be the norm, but now BT is to be delayed at least until 4th item as a defensive-ish alternative. I see a lot of Morgana support where you don't purchase a sightstone within a 40 minute game.

I checked a few of your recent ranked games and you're averaging single-digit "wards placed" throughout the matches, which were anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes long.

As support (or sightstone jungler), try to have your "end-game wards placed" to be equal to at least the length of the game in minutes (ex. at least 40 wards over a 40 minute game), and if you keep your warding totem (as a non-sightstone champ), try for 1 ward per 2 minutes game time (2 minute CD throughout the game).

While no, your KDA or even KDR aren't too bad (i would recommend trying to die less though), there are more important things to look at when trying to figure out why you have plateaued in terms of win-rate. Something I tell a lot of the people I coach is that one of the most effective ways to carry a game is simply to ward a lot; vision wins games.

Mind you, I haven't looked at your match-ups, possible champ select or counter-picking, lane synergy, mastery pages, runes, positioning, etc. I feel I have a pretty good understanding of where you sit, in terms of skill.

So you answer your question, yes, I do believe the system in place is (more or less), sufficient in terms of match-making and even though it might be embarrassing or annoying to realize, I also believe you are being matched with appropriately skilled team mates and opponents.

Thanks for taking the time to read. I don't really use cookie cutter rune pages from sites more as I've been trying to adapt what I've seen and make other rune pages. 9 flat armor works well for me so I stick with it, etc. Since most champs need about the same thing (ranged champs usually don't get mr per level, supports and bot lane tanks need armor, etc) I make them for whatever role I need unless the champion needs a specific rune page like for Urgot I don't really flat AD runes since he's strong at top lane w/o.

About the matchmaking system, I could understand it working for a 5v5 team but people who are toxic really bring the game down, not to mention getting paired with people who are unranked or people who only know how to play 1 role or 1 champion and command you to give it to them. There could be like, an AI basics test that you have to pass before you could play ranked that could test whether or not you could recognize overextending or maybe that you have to own more than X champions.

I put my time in and I at least know how not to feed or go into like a 12 death feeding spree. I keep my deaths low and I make towers and objectives the priority. I keep getting these teams that say "Let's group" even if it's a completely bad time to group. The same cookie-cutter strategies that don't work like rushing to baron when our inhibs are down or grouping mid just for the sake of grouping mid and doing this dance in mid lane that eventually ends with one of our team getting caught or someone tower diving the enemy. No one knows what split pushing is, everyone thinks that you only need one lane down to win a game easily and they wanna surrender if we're not winning by a landslide by 25 minutes.

I'm gonna focus on a few high-tier champs though. Maybe if I start using them I can try to carry a bit harder since they're low effort/high reward.
