Leblanc seems to be in a better spot right now

She took a few nerfs and still seems to be a little strong but not unbearable like she used to be.

If I was going to change anything about her I would lower her base AD considering her already potent burst. Her AD is the 6th highest for ranged at level 1 ( according to The Wikia ) and I find it odd she has ~~the highest~~ one of the highest AD at level 18 for ranged, even surpassing many melee champions.

I am not saying she needs a change I am just asking why she has such high AD while also having one of the highest burst combos.

Some mages have oddly high base ADs. Some of these are likely to assist the mage with last hitting minions and basic harassment via AAs in lane. Especially if the mage is mana hungry or dependent, they don't want to waste their spells wave clearing so they might have a little help in terms of base AD since it isn't likely to impact their post-laning game.

I feel like with such potent burst she does not need easier last hitting. I think because she is mobile/bursty she needs to be giving up the ability to easily last hit via autos earlier on. Her mana costs are fairly high but mages have been known (not all) to have low AD because they farm efficiently with their abilities. Her auto attacks are a little too good at trading with other mages.

The only ability LB can actually farm with is also her gap closer and her escape that is why she has higher AD. Yes mages are known for being able to farm with their abilities but Leblanc really can't without losing her mobility. While it might not seem like a lot it's like forcing Tristana or Ezreal or Akali to use their dashes to farm. LeBlanc isn't Lissandra she doesn't have the choice between using her claw or her other AoE abilities to farm LB relies on high AD to last hit without going automatically oom as well as to last hit without getting shoved under turret by literally every other midlaner.

LeBlanc is weak overall due to poor teamfights and waveclear and her nature of assassin requiring distortion to within melee range. Any complaints post silence have probably been from people who got wrecked by that one fed LeBlanc.

If anything she needs a buff to waveclear. Q to multiple targets or something. Unless the next NLR item helps her out.

if it has any CDR, it will help her out, since CDR is one of the best stats on assassin mages (part of why DFG changed from the "tank busting" to "assassin bursting" item was that the CDR tacked onto so much AP made it really useful outside of having the extra burst).

Nerfs? The only nerf she had, was the removal of her silence. Her damage remained the same. I always thought when people said she wasn't useful anymore. As if she wasn't doing unhealthy amounts of damage and having ways to escape bad situations pretty easily.

Her number one go to item was removed. Mana regen was also nerfed.

it was also the number one go to item for most AP burst mage/assassins. Blanket nerds don't usually affect individual champions as severely. now she just rushes Rabbadon's for comparable damage while other champs who needed DFG have to have extensive changes to make them remain competitive.

OP says leblanc has the highest ad for a ranged champ at level 18, when actually she has the 2nd highest. Morg has higher and is ranged as well.

She is easily pushed to the turret so she needs a way to handle this outside of her kit being able to wave clear early(meaning she can't wave clear early on). High ad allows her to farm.

But with such high AD early you cannot push your wave without wasting your pots quickly because she has high damage with both AD and AP early.

it is to make up for her weak early wave clear so that she has a chance to CS under tower. Most mages who have better clear don't have as much AD because they rarely get shoved up for long enough to make CSing a challenge.

It is more because she harasses very well with just auto attacks, especially in pre level 30 games.

I think her AD is that high to offset the fact that if she failed her combo she still needs a way (even a small one) to deal a bit of damage before she goes boom
