i think a lot of people appreciate ryze. just not when riot bullshit him both in strenght or weaknesses.

Right now, Ryze can't be both balanced and healthy. His weakness are so severe (high mana cost, lots of down time on his passive, and most of all, the fact that his casting animations suppress him one second out of every 2 to 1.2 seconds (depending on cdr) during his skill spam) that he needs to be outrageously strong when he's able to play around his weakness while you arn't. Ryze's spell combo prevents him from moving, and unlike auto attacks he cant break away from casting them once he starts. Get a blitz, thresh, or someone else with a hard to hit skill shot cc and he will die in every fight right away. They just nerfed Ryze to the ground, if you are still having issues against him, try playing him a few games to understand his weakness. Ryze might still be broken, but he's one of the most underpowred champs right now.
