What happened to Nemesis Draft?

Hey guys. We've seen a lot of game modes over the years and most of them returned at least once. Riot explained why Snowdown Showdown most likely won't come back as a RGM, but what about Nemesis Draft?

I haven't seen anyone talking about it and have never seen a Rioter's explanation why this never came back. Or did I just miss it?

For those who have never heard of it or don't remember:

Nemesis draft turned around Champ Select and made you pick the champions for your enemies. After that you could swap your champs between your teammates just like the normal Draft pick. Tactics were pretty interesting. There were people picking champions they thought were "weak", others picked champions that had a disadvantage against the champ your enemy picked for you.

Now that we're in a state of the game where few champs are actually considered "useless" while there are many champs that are considered "pick to win", Nemesis Draft would be the perfect opportunity to create a more diverse and interesting environment.

Okay, now the more I write about that game mode the more I wish for it to come back...

What do you guys think? And if a Rioter reads this: Is there a possibility that it may come back some day? :)
