Do promo games no longer give free wins when getting back into them?

So I recently just played my promos for Plat and after so unfortunate games I failed them, got back into them but I didn't get a free win, which confuses me. I remember last year when I was in a promos I got a free win when I got back after losing them, and I remember getting a free win when climbing back into G1. So did they remove it in promos or does it stop after a certain point?
