because ill tell you my last 5 levels on my smurf account, i've 4 champ shards worth 270, and one worth 450.
in 5 levels and 50 games, i literally got 1530 IP.
You gain more BE than you did IP. The problem lies in the fact that it doesn't feel rewarding because of the content of level up chests. Getting the umpteenth Nunu shard in a row doesn't feel great.
They nerfed them originally but now they've been massively buffed

The numbers have been seen and you gain MORE BE at a faster rate than IP. So they didn't "nerf" anything. I've had over 500,000 since the change, and yes part of that was from the refund (about 300,000) but the rest wasn't.
