These Talon buffs on the PBE are useless

They help him in lane (and not even by alot) but his laning phase is actually pretty decent. Far better than pre rework for sure. The problem is that his lategame assassination potential is exactly 0...he lost alot of single target and AoE dmg UNLESS he can proc his passive but that is not gonna happen realistically.

Also the Q gapcloser is far inferior to his old E, it is not a blink anymore and gets interrupted by anything while also having less range...his mobility in teamfights got destroyed imo.

it's sad but it's what happens when you nerf all of his damage and ratios and give him a awkward and slow passive and mana refund for killing minions with Q.

Legit every assassins that isn't AP is either get super fed off an enemy being stupid and feeding and end early before even though they are dumb they bought one of their million options of defensive items or just bought tear and catalyst like Ryze and one shot you with no AP.

Every time riot wants to know if they got assassins right they should just ask themselves "Why would i pick an Assassin over a mage"

Having played talon both before the rework and after a fair amount you are absolutely right. His E was an instantaneous gap closer. They have the right idea for his rework however the ad ratios on his ultimate and W are too low to one shot people unless your extremely fed and your passive is not easy enough to proc. Expecting more buffs in the future but knowing riot they will buff his movement speed or something. I would love to be able to work on their balance team and fix the balancing issues.

Here we are 24 days later. Buffs are here and they are indeed useless. The lethality item buffs on pbe arent doing anything either.

Talon is not that bad.

Please, we are already lacking ban slots, the last thing we need is talon to be "accidentally" overbuffed into ban tier.

This already happened to lb and kat, hold off your horses with buffs.
