How is a 75 sec charge smite useful? Ever?

I don't get the point of a 75-second smite charge. When is someone going to wait longer than 75 seconds to use smite, unless they have a 50 second death timer and can't even get into their jungle? The two-charge smite seems absolutely pointless. Maybe if it started at 0 so there could be some strategy for less early-efficient champs to begin jungling...but as it is? I just don't get it at all.

I have no idea how it happened, but I just got smited by Lee Sin 3 times in a single duel.

It's meant for the mid to late game, when current junglers are simply choosing not to use smite to secure objectives within their own jungle in favor of using them on champions for the added bonuses that they bring. Heavy roaming junglers will spend enough time outside of the jungle in most cases to be able to get both of those stacks up, so that when they go back into the jungle after being away for a while camping a lane out or pushing a lane up they can quickly get back into the swing of their clears.

It's not meant to help as much in the early game, it's meant to give junglers a way to feel like they can still use smite as it's intended but preserve it's potential utility during duels or teamfights.

It's especially useful for poacher's knife.

I will like to see how it goes. Double smite for causal play seems nice but I wonder how its going to change LCS. Give a pro player 2 smites and there is going to be so much counter jungling.
