Will Rift herald mean that adc and sup go middle?

The point of Riot adding the Rift Herald is for top to have a serious objective to fight over. If I was going to think about this logically, why wouldn't it be a good idea to start putting my ADC and SUP middle so that the two of them can help to better control the rest of the map? As I thought about it, I then wondered why this isn't happening already.

Just a thought and a question.

doubt it mid still has more ways of getting ganked than bot lane

They'd still need the junglers help because most supports probably can't tank the herald as the damage is significantly reduced on ranged attacks.
