Ashe and crit damage runes

Just a quick question. What is the difference between taking crit chance and crit damage runes on Ashe? Would taking crit damage runes do anything?

Ashe will always critically strike foes slowed by Frost Shot. That critical strike damage is increased by none other than critical strike chance.

The patch notes read "This bonus damage is increased by Critical Strike items."

Because items is plural, and Infinity Edge is the only item that increases critical damage, you can assume that critical chance increases her damage, not traditional critical damage.

I actually don't know. Riot should give us a clear answer.

Critical damage works exactly the same with her criticals, as well. It increases the overall damage of her crits. She scales really well with it and it's the main reason IE is an absolute must on her. Check out the math here.

Crit damage runes do nothing for new Ashe the returns are extremely minimal, You are better off stacking the usual stuff like Armor, Lifesteal, attack dmg
