So I realized very recently that Mordekaiser's passive shield procs on tower hits. So I don't know of any other champions that have shields that block tower hits(Riven's Valor, Morgana's Black Shield, even Yasuo's wind wall). So why does Mordekaiser's shield block towers? He's very strong without that mechanic and I think it should be removed, because it makes it way too easy for him to safely push towers and tower dive.
Well of course Morg's doesnt block tower shots, Yasuo's wind wall isnt a shield, and Riven's does block tower shots.
Mordekaiser does not safely push to your turret, if he does then your team is bad. He is incredibly immobile and has no CC, meaning a single gank and he is done. Gank him 2-3 more times and he is officially useless all game, also Mordekaiser is only strong if you let him smack on you while effected by his ult. Let him push to your turret then call for a gank and watch as you kill him every time he pushes. Morde is actually in need of a small buff right now in my opinion, only because the mobility on his W doesnt really help all that much.

That's kind of the thing.
Due to how all of his abilities work, it's too easy for him to shove. 5 minutes in lane with Mordekaiser can easily translate to Mordekaiser being pushed the hell up almost all the time, which is huge when you consider he has no built in mobility to escape ganks. He doesn't "safely push towers", he is *always *shoving lane and pushing his immobile ass into a position he can't escape from.
Zilean can dive u under your second tower and get away with it

What about pantheon...he just completely blocks the tower damage with his shield

1: Rivens does. 2: Pantheons 3: Mordekaiser isnt very strong atm. even with the recent buffs, he got AP Ratio nerfs.
anny damage shield blocks towerdamage(like rivens valor) Morganas shield only blocks magical damge while towers deal physical, and yasuos windwall isn't really a shield
riven's valor definitely blocks tower hits, morgana's black shield does not because it specifies that it only blocks magic damage, towers are physical (although i think they have some crazy amount of inherent armor pen because why would riot let building tank items be useful?) yasuo's windwall is a completely different mechanic that also specifies that it does nothing to tower shots, mentioning it kinda makes you look like you have no idea what you're talking about.
Morg only blocks ap dmg, yas is a complete different thing and i think rivens does block tower dmg like all other shields that work as extra hp.
