i hate Dota 2 gameplay with a passion but i saw this: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=604487899.

they're able to make the original game as a dota 2 gamemode "The aim of this project is, to restore old Valve assets that they changed, removed or renamed with new updates, It's means,Maps: Replaced with old map...... Old items Old textures and old icons Old sounds Old models Old spell names like Curse Of The Silent and icons..... Removed all new heroes and items , "

Why do i want this gamemode so badly? Because** i wasn't able to see the release of league of legends.** and i'm sure that most of league's player didn't too, we couldn't experiment some features that are totally unknown to us. this is the only video of the beta that i found, there were different bushes, different items abilities, splash art, and some had different spell names and icons.

Everyone will like this gamemode. Old players will have nostalgia, new players will discover new stuffs.

twitch ulti used to have this icon and its name was spray and pray a reference to a weapon (i think?) which was changed to ratatatatata or some shit.

Spray and Pray means that you just shoot in their general direction and pray you hit something. It's an old military term.

dota2 has customers that works on a lot of modes

riot doesn't. That's why they keep giving us old modes like hexakill.

The problem with a old beta mode is that some balance decisions were legit tone up/downs of characters who were crazy on both spectrums, also tons upon tons of metas have been discovered that if implemented in the beta mode would be impossible to deal with

this is a gamemode, you don't care about balance in a gamemode its here for fun because it's temporary.

and back in the early life of league, none knew how to play the game, which means that if they put it and players test some old things they might realise that it was ok to have some old champs/items/bushes.

You "don't" care, but in reality we would tilt hard losing agasint AP MasterYi , XinZhao ,TwistedFate ,Evelynn and other unbalanced unimaginable horros. Present Tankko is a minion compared to those unbalanced things.

It's not about losing, it's about getting extremely high amounts of frustration being killed by those uncounterable champions.

ap yi could be countered, it was called banshee (which was extremly op), cc, and burst damage.

eve could be countered, it was called pink wards but back in 2010 nobody gave a shit about pink wards yes it cost golds but that was the point of the champ, then if you saw here you could just go b and she was useless all the game, she couldn't jungle, she couldn't lane, she could just gank if she had 0 kill or assists she would lvl 1 all the game.

xin zhao was countered by Jax.

TF was countered by pantheon and shen.

Yes, league was all around counterpick and counter itemization, but don't worry because if you were against those champs, your champ was also good.

I know all of them have some counters, every champion has them, but they still are frustrating (Ezreal LeeSin Zed Ekko ).

And being forced to buy a pink ward isn't counterplay, it's counterbuild. It's not the same, it's way more restrictive, because you either pick a champion who happens to have counter mechanics or have to use gold just to be able to compete.

I mean, it might have been a bit harder to use since back before season 1 ADC mid APC bot was the meta.

Damn I always wanted to play pre rework sion and zilean , dfg shaco veigar and Annie, feral flare yi and Warwick... Release xin zhao , pre nerf kassadin, silence talon and Leblanc... Global ult tf ... 6 turrets heimerdinger... Ahh so much shit I have missed ...

Woah u went way back in the alpha man ! They merged the abilities afterwards into his current ult. It still retained the global range though .

Nah man, it still was up during open beta and the release game and nobody wants too see release Xin Zhao. If release Xin Zhao was still around you'd rather play a 5 Soraka vs 10 Zed's than having to play against release Xin Zhao. That guy wasn't any kind of fun back then.^^
