Why I Uninstalled

I play casually on this account and one other...maybe 1 game per day or every other day. I'm tired of people playing champs for the first time during ranked matches and ruining them, something should be done about this. I know I would have been in silver forever playing only a few games per week, but if I want to make slow progress in a game, I would expect games wouldn't be ruined by people trying champs for the first time in ranked (especially since you have to dedicate 50 minutes for one match).

My solution? Before you can que for ranked, you MUST have 2 or 3 champs at mastery IV or V rating for each role you selected. That means if you want to que for top and mid, you must have 3 top champs at mastery V and 3 mid champs at mastery V. You may ONLY play those champs that have reached mastery V (or IV if you want it easier).

This will force players to learn their champs in normal games before using them in a serious ranked match. I think this would make league much more pleasant for bronze and silver players (probably higher ranks to). Until some sort of system like this is put in place to make ranked matches more serious, I can't justify investing time into this game.

This wouldn't help in the long run because of how easy it is to get to level 5 masteries. Let alone the fact that years down the line i would assume most people would have masteries in most if not all the champions so whats stopping someone from just playing "Troll" pick champions in say the featured game mode and rank up loads of masteries (like in URF) then going into rank just to troll?

lol, whats even worse is that someone believes that mastery levels mean anything significant

There are many reasons to uninstall. Some are valid, some are not. This is by far one of the stupidest reasons I have seen though.

You complain about the state of competitive queue, but claim to play the game casually maybe 1 game per a day or two.

How do you define what role the champion is in? How do you define what role someone got the mastery in?

If I were to play Xerath, Ziggs, and Veigar Support, getting level 5 Mastery on them there, how would you know to count that as my three Support champions instead of my three Mid champions?

The Mastery system isn't set up for integration with Roles, because champions aren't designed to only be able to go one role.

this is honestly excessive. i feel at least 1 full rune page, but if they own the champ they get to use the champ man.
