could we get a four 3~5 member team map?

blue team red team orange/yellow team green team?

the availability of this map would cut the number of games needed virtually in half <3

you're talking 12-20 people, it sounds to me like you basically want Dominion but on a much larger scale? This would never work for classic mode.

If it were to become a thing, the only possible route for it would be 4 teams of 3, with a map about 50% larger than SR, but almost the same shape. The way I'm picturing it would be that the 2 corners of SR in top and bot lane would have their own team bases, and the river would be redone to be their own lanes. Each team would have 3 lanes, same as usual, with each team facing off at different sections of the map.

Not too much of a problem right away, but the real trouble comes with 2 things:

  1. How the jungle would function, and

  2. How the game would interact with other teams losing.

Would the first 2 teams to lose be forced to spectate the rest of the game, or would they have to implement a sort of "World of Tanks"-esque system where you can leave early but don't get your IP or Mastery Points until the game ends?

Don't get me wrong, I would love to play it if it were made to be a thing. It would be fast-paced and absolutely nuts, and that's just how I would like it.

But there would be a lot of core game mechanics that would definitely need modified. Some that are right off the top of my head:

  1. Jungle monsters would have to either be removed or given a reason to take them in this kind of match. In the case of removed, the jungle would serve no purpose except for shortcuts between lanes.
  2. The game's current match-end mechanic would have to be heavily modified so that the match wouldn't end after just 1 team loses.
  3. Many champions would probably need to either be removed from the game mode or changed so they could be used properly (specifically supports).
  4. And like I stated previously, what would have to happen to the members of teams that have lost?

Loading that many people into one game would put major stress on the servers and everyone's computers. It now needs to relay the data of all of those champs to each-other constantly.

i think the servers could handle it if this is in fact an mmo <3 there's been much worse traffic in other games i think Riot could handle it.

It's not really an mmo in the same way as the other games. Other games don't send each other all info for everybody, just vicinity stuff. Think of it like a bunch of people all in the same bank/party room in another game. You end up with extreme lag and packet loss and can't really move smoothly.
