Ascension is on the rotating weekend queue. It, alongside other game modes, will only be available on select weekends from Friday-Sunday. The next upcoming rotating game mode is URF, which is supposed to be coming April 22-24 if I'm not mistaken.

I think it's actually Poro King next weekend, and then URF after that.

You've got the dates about right, but the rotating game mode shifts every week. So we'll have Poro King before URF.

Some people brought up the point that once these modes begin to build a "meta", these modes lose a lot of fun and it doesn't feel fresh. Riot probably thought of this before-hand.
Once the novelty wears off, people will probably stop playing after several games, resulting in longer queue times and imbalanced games after the first several days.

I never been a fan of dominion. This game mode, while it is a legit game mod (unlike... coughsdraven mode), It is basically that, with just enough tweaks to make it different.

just because they were advertising doesn't mean that any of that successfully reached me. and you have no right to assume that every advertisement that you would be flawlessly caught up with should necessarily do the same to me.
