@RiotRepertoir Whats the thinking behind over buffing/compensating zed but nerfing talon ?

Is it just champions' popularity ? Zed is getting buffed patch after patch, and even after the duskblade nerfs he is still overcompensated. On the other hand, talon's compensation for the above nerf was clearly not enough, and despite Riot saying in previous patches talon is in a bad state in mid lane and definitely needs some buffs, despite the mr buff, the passive/r buff, and the ignite buff, (all small buffs), the duskblade nerf was still stronger and he is even weaker than before now.

Going to cite win rate numbers here because that seems to be what this is about. Do correct me if that's not it. This is based on early data on the 8.6 patch, at what our data analysts consider to be reasonable sample size.

Talon: +0.9% WR Zed: +0.2% WR

Based on that, it doesn't seem like Talon was nerfed, and if the argument is that the data is off and he was, in fact, nerfed, it seems like it wasn't by much. Zed, on the other had, suffered a nerf component to his compensation package for fear that his Duskblade comp was overdoing it while being directionally correct, so when the numbers came back and it looked like he wasn't overcomped, I felt comfortable taking that precautionary nerf away, which is what is planned for 8.7.

I've said it before and I'll say it again , talon does not need damage buffs, he needs the rengar and lb treatment, he needs partial revert to his kit, his W needs to be reverted Because it's so fkin easy to dodge and slow. And if they would allow him to cast abilities mid-air jump that would make him more smooth to play (he can only cast R and it would put him back in his place in the middle of wall so he loses dash space).

I know those are still considerated buffs, but Zed buffs on PBE at the moment are just buffs to his damage on Q if it goes through something first, basicly his wave clear. Like Talon got a buff on his passive and R, Zed also got a buff on his Q and on his Ultimate. Riot is still trying to adjust them and you're already crying and it has only been one patch ! Just stop using excuses like 'Why this champion X is getting buffed while Y isn't?" and start making arguments like "I think the champion Y needs buffs because: ....".

For example, if I was going to argue, instead of saying "Zed IS RIOT FAVORITE WTD, BUFF TALON !!11!!", I would say something like:

"The compensation buffs for Talon weren't that good, monstly because he was balanced around Duskblade like other Assassins, but in Talon's case he used to abuse the double Proc of the item with his ultimate, wich means he was more depedent of Duskblade than other users."

If you had said something like that I would have upvoted you, but since isn't the case and your arguments are a failure, I'm sorry but I don't even know how this reached hot.

8.7 Change is not a buff jesus this got nerfed in 8.6 they're just changing it back , Stop crying about zed , and instead ask for nerfs to champs such as : Swain,Galio,Warwick etc , who are tanky AF but can destroy you within 3-4 seconds, Zed is Zed , like he has always been , if you suck in lane and the Zed is good , you autolose, if you are good in lane and he sucks = autowin, if you both are good = Junglers will decide the game.

Because Talon's early laning is toxic as fuck considering he has a 200% AD passive and a way easily proc it on QW unless you play extremely safe for 15 minutes.

Why would you even want that in a lane.
