Don't ya think? 200% AP scaling on a ultimate that REVIVES for a set amount of health, while also scaling 200% with AP as additional health it heals the target for, as well for a 60 second cooldown (Level 3), and GA being very popular pickup and efficient now with its price reduction, you can die essentially twice (3 if you'r anivia?) while being healed by both, and if you're a squishy mage or such, that 200% Scaling can almost heal you for all your health.

RANGE: 900 COST: 125 / 150 / 175 MANA COOLDOWN: 120 / 90 / 60 -Chronoshift: ACTIVE: Zilean places a protective time rune on the target ally champion or himself for 5 seconds. If the target takes fatal damage during that time, they are instead put in Stasis icon stasis for 2 seconds and are revived with a set amount of health.

HEALTH REGAINED: 600 / 850 / 1100 (+ 200% AP)

His bombs don't even scale with 100% of his AP; AP Zilean would feel a lot worse without a few good reasons to invest in it

Besides, what's wrong with an ult being powerful? It's not like there aren't ults that can take him back to 0 health in one second

his damage falls off because he only has one damage spell. he needs the ult scaling to make AP zil viable.

Ya exactly why he is picked. He has pretty good utility and can turn around teamfights. However, he lacks consistent dps, has only one dmg spell that takes a bit of skill to aim, has an ult that takes some aiming but can also be waited out so that takes skill as well. I can tell that ur prob the type of person to attack the dude ulted when u can wait it out. Besides, in a 1 v 1, zil sucks mid and late game. He has his strengths, but he ain't a fizz or mal. I hate how people not only complain about FOTM champs, but ones that are balanced as well.

His ult scaling is fine because most times it's way more than is necessary. Zilean ult would full health revive squishy targets late game even if you cut the heal to say, 120% AP. It only goes up so high so it's not worthless on tanks.
