Something is terribly wrong with the ranked matchmaking

Hey guys,

I decided to stop queue dodging in ranked play to see if it was really needed or not.

I played 10 ranked games in a row, and for each of them i took record if the matchmaking was easy, balanced or hard for me, and then the real result of the game.

It turns out that 8 out of 10 times i ended up having a hard matchmaking, 1 time the matchmaking was balanced and 1 time it was easy.

I won the games where the matchmaking was balanced and easy. I also won 2 other games with hard matchmaking that were really tough and it was almost a miracle i did.

So long story short, if I queue dodged all my hard matchmakings my winrate could have been much higher.

I don't understand how the matchmaking can be so unfair, and why are we punished to queue dodge when the matchmaking is forcing us to play almost unwinnable games.

Along with queue dodge penalties, you cannot dodge more than 1 time a day. This means if you dodge once a day, then you should stop playing till tomorrow. This is nonsense. I dont understand how riot game designers put a system like this in place.

Please Riot guys, make matchmaking fair so we can enjoy the game better.

TIA

You ccan dodge more than once per day, it's just theres harsher penalties. Other than the time penalties though, the losses are only cosmetic (as in LP, as your MMR remains intact which is what really matters).

But yeah, matchmaking is pretty sketchy right now, but it usually is during preseason and around the start of season, as the good players haven't climbed yet, and the really bad ones haven't fallen yet. Never minding the starting mmr issues that nullified most of the impact of some peoples placements.
