Riot controls the META and the champions involved
How many times have we heard a riot employee say something like "we don't like where that champion is.." It doesn't seem right to me that they are allowed to play favorites with champions. If the champ is toxic or unfun then change it you are the designers aren't you? other players want to see their main champions in the LCS sometimes, they want to see them played at their best to help them learn. We don't need the most interesting meta or most fun meta, we need the most balanced champions. don't we want to see all kinds of banns and picks in the LCS, new and different every year? Kinda feels like we will see a lot of tristana and zed and lee sin AGAIN. they aren't OP, we just don't have enough balanced options because Riot is picking their favorites.
