Aatrox vs. Poppy

A piece of advice : Never, ever, pick Aatrox into a Poppy match-up. I have 300+ games on Aatrox. Never had such a big counter (Pantheon/Jax are shit compared to this one)...

She is only an issue if you are trying to kill her. Some top lane matchups you just have to accept that you have no kill potential. Malphite vs. Garen is another one, neither of them should be killing each other,

In this case, aatrox vs. poppy, you should have no problem out farming her. But, no, you will not be killing her due to her W..making engaging impossible and getting away impossible. Just cause you aren't killing your top lane doesn't mean you aren't winning top lane.

It was the 1st time i met a Poppy in top lane. I saw the champion.gg stats where bad for Aatrox, but i didn't exactly knew why... Ofc, from now on vs. Poppy lanes i will get TP and last hit only.

if she engages on you you can try and kite her back towars your tower with your he and sustaini back up but yeah she is pretty much impossble to kill in a all out 1v1. only chance you can get is if you bait out her w and she doesnt have ult :/
