Just what an absolute joke. Let's give a champion 100% outplay potential with actually zero counterplay potential. But really who's surprised the worst game designer of all time made ANOTHER mistake in game design.
I know you cant seem to play without point and clicks being your essential tools of the trade, but some of us can play champions like Mordekaiser who have AOE not targetted damage. Xerath also works well, Zilean can do well vs her especially with minions in the shroud. Its called expanding your roster. You might try it.
I love certainlyT. Some of the best champions ever designed come from her.
Leblanc.... thats all you need to do. I play a shit ton of Akali and Leblanc
I didn't expect this to be a low volume thread....
Anywho.... Akali will become oppressive to the point where she will get nerfed. It's in her skill curve, and as more people learn what she can and cannot do, and learn to conserve energy...... she will get to ~ 59-60% win rate. But until then...... you will have to deal with this version, and one in 4 Akali users will REALLY know how to use her.
That being said, it's not like she doesn't have counter pressure play:
-Tethers tell you where she is. -Nontarget Aoes. -AOE CC. -Zhonyas -Resist builds. -Good teamwork (she is mostly a single targetter) -Combine these strategies and fight her under a turret (can't target in cloud, but for her to do anything, she becomes targettable, and you can target aoes at her)
Personally, when I see her, I choose

and get really small in my turret space. She might kill me a couple times early on, but if I do this, she doesn't have a chance mid - late game due to my W
