So Leblanc has the worst Winrate of all Mid laners now

and yet people still can't stop QQing about her. Am i supposed to understand this? She literally doesn't have any favorable matchups anymore. Because her W (aka main part of her combo) is so slow now, you can either dodge it (Ezreal, Zed, Lissandra, Nida, Talon, etc.) or just interrupt it (Syndra, Lux, Morg). You was able to do it too before but that required some reaction time. While i agree she frustrated Jinx Mains, i think nerfs to her safety (like that one Zed nerf) would have been more reasonable.

Ah yes, I love these anti-QQ threads based around statistical ignorance. You are one of those people who thinks the only relevant stat is win rate (and I'm sorry but if you believe that you're either dreadfully uninformed or willfully ignorant). You need to look at soooooo much more than win rate to understand a champion's strength in the game at a given time, things like:

  • Time since last change
  • Win rate across all elos
  • Average win rate of a first time player
  • Average win rate of a main (at least 100-150 games this season)
  • Average pick rate
  • Average ban rate
  • Champions picked against
  • Champions picked with
  • etc.

Right now, I think Leblanc is balanced. The last nerf they gave her took her from being absolutely overpowered to being in a healthy spot as a high burst assassin with high risk/reward gameplay like she is supposed to have. her win rate doesn't agree with that, but that is largely because people who still think they can play as if they own the map are suddenly getting caught out off guard and unaware because they forget she isn't super safe anymore.

She was weak even before the nerfs. Sadly Riot listens to low elo players so they nerf all assassins although they suck in this meta. (apart from rengar because this champion has 0 counterplay and can still oneshot your carries in 0.1 sec out of invisibility and then run away with 500+ movement speed.)

I still ban her every game

Putting a 1 sec minimum to jump back would have gutted her a lot harder.

I think she still has the potential to be extremely oppressive, but the margin of error keeps tightening on her. She's becoming an unreliable pick for many people that kept her in their mid lane rotation. I can see how this would frustrate a lot Leblanc mains. It's a very high risk for a high reward, but to people that used to play her frequently I can imagine it seems underwhelming compared to before.

I think champions like Leblanc are broken. Assassins in general can use some reworks. A super oppressive champion that can burst down people in a few seconds will always be hated, and there will always be problems with their game play because there is virtually no counter play when they land their combos. Their weaknesses are that they are squishy, have little to no utility (except for Ekko, but I don't consider him all that oppressive), and they need to take a risk to take champions out.

The only way to nerf these types of champions is to introduce more risk into an already very risky play style. This creates problems for many who play her, and if she ever got buffed up again, people would complain that the risk is not high enough for the reward Leblanc gets. It's like being on a seesaw where nobody is ever happy with the outcome.
