Do you ever just click with a champion you were bad at?

Okay so, last last year i joined leauge and I watched a lot of tsm, and I saw Dyrus, I really liked him he was great, and I saw he palyed a lot of GP because he said it was broken, and everyone else was saying it, even though i watched streams I never quite got the hang of playing him, i kept feeding and messing up to the point were i said gp was a worthless champion and gave up playing him.

Unit yesterday night, I was hovering GP and was like "why the hell not" I played him, but insted of tryharding like I did before with him, I just took it slow and I did really well, and since then I just kept on winning and winning and he has turned from a champion I hated, to a champion I really like now.

So any of you ever hated a champion that turned out to be one they really like? ~ [slayer-jinx-catface]

I used to suck at nami when I first tried her back in Season 3. I was so bad at her that I didn't touch her again for the longest time XD Then I picked her up again in Season 5 just to try her and she became my carry. Now she's my one and only rank 7 XD

I hated Ekko upon release. A few weeks ago I found myself lacking AP champions and mid laners. Since I prefer melee champions (and he was free) I gave him a shot.

Honestly? He's fun. I never played tank Ekko (AP bruiser? Yeah, when I'm too) because I didn't want to support or get used to that build, but AP Ekko was fun. Positioning his Q, using his E on the third ring and watching your opponents health drop, getting some accidental kills when you forget where your R is (and dying most of the time when I forget where it is) were all pretty fun.

He's become my go to AP champion when my team needs magic damage and already has a tank or when I'm in mid (which I'm trying to get better at).

Hell if I didn't play Sion so much, I might even consider being an Ekko main. Though I am happy to shout COWARDS!!! Whenever I ult away as Sion.
