Do you think CLG were over confident going into this summer split?

Okay so clg looked very good in msi, even taking a game off skt (something tsm have never done) but what i think is that they were expecting to go into this summer split beating all the teams, i dont think they improved (apart from their adc) I think they thought they were the shit and going to destroy all of the teams, and because they thought like this, because they think they are better, is the reason they are not doing as well as they could have

See, for me they weren't so much "overconfident" as they were "out-meta'd" if that makes sense. Back in spring, Darshan was known as someone who could play carries really well but was forced onto tanks with them being the meta. In summer, the meta has shifted yet again and we're seeing more "bruiser carries" in the top lane with the likes of irelia/trundle being "meta" right now. Because of this meta change, CLG is yet again being forced to adapt not only to the meta, but to the other teams who have kinda adapted to their playstyle. While you can blame any one player for their "Failures", it's more of a team one than anything (their mid/jg/top being 8th in KDA among players at their positions with their adc being 7th).
