Start playing Annie, Garen, & Sivir.

Next learn to play macro since these champs allow macro play.

Tada you might actually hit D5 if you learn.

True, many years back I remember seeing a friend play reworked Garen(I think?), I liked him so much that I told myself If I ever play this game I'd play him. And I did, I played him, and he became my first even main AND my first ever one trick. But as sokn as I saw other champioms I told myself if I want to improve I'd need to learn how to play more difficult champions, and I did. That's when I added Camille and Xerath to my main pool.
