Suggestion about some Fiora changes

Fiora

Fiora is in a balanced state right now, according to her numbers, but she still has some problems that needs to be addressed. Hashinshin talked about it on this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPs67Fqj2GY

This video was recorded before patch 9.8, when Fiora got some buffs. As always, Hashinshin exaggerates a lot when criticising something, but some of the things he said are very true even after her buffs:

  • Fiora is not good at teamfights, so most of the times she has to splitpush;
  • But her splitpushing is mediocre because, while she has a great 1v1, she has mana problems mid/late game and can't take turrets very fast;

So, I would like to make a suggestion about some small Fiora changes that would enable her to do her job better, while keeping her balanced:

  1. A mana regeneration buff mid/late game;

or

  1. A more interesting idea, make her Ultimate healing zone also recover mana. That would make her splitpushing, and even her teamfighting, a little better and would reward good Fiora players.

The idea of these changes is to reduce her early game damage a bit, giving her more counterplay in lane, and make her mid/late game better not by adding damage, but by enabling her to pressure the map more (which is her goal);

Since those are small changes and they don't aim to nerf or buff her, just to make a power shift, she should still be balanced while being more able to do her job.

Thanks for reading!

her turret push is fine, when you build triforce on her, like most fioras do.

if you have mana issues with her, pick up manaflow band, or get yourself a blue buff. item 3004 is a legitamate option on her considering her short cooldowns.

yea, you give up nimbus cloak for a mana rune. but thats the whole point of the system. you need to make a choice. do you want to stack on your strengths or remove some of your weaknes.

there are things in this game that allow your champion to work around his weaknesses, if you go out of your way to look for them.
