Ekkos Eulogy (inb4 hes nerfed to hell)

We all know it will happen so before another one of my favorite champs gets sent to the shadow realm, I would like to share a few words with my fellow Ekko playing brethren.

was the first champion I truly connected with since (who i played devoutly since his release back in 2011)... I guess I have an affinity for melee ap assassins but thats neither here nor there. The epidemic of people playing tank assassins has caused the community to lose their minds. And while I'm one of the few who prefer to play the champ as originally intended, a squishy high burst assassin, the popular/common builds tend to be the tanky builds which make playing against him an egregious event. Don't get me wrong, it's great that people figure out unorthodox builds that work well. It just sucks that because of builds like that taking the forefront, nerfs to the champion (hopefully not heavy nerfs) are inevitable. I could hope that it wont affect the performance of the squishy ap builds but that would be folly.

It's clear the community has a lot of hate for our boy who shattered time. Despite that we must stay strong. Pay no mind to the tank that somehow manages to slip under everyones radar. Pay no mind to the senseless bans that will surely ensue after the nerfs. We must play him like he was just released yesterday and exclaim our enjoyment out to the world.
