Don't die.

And by this I mean, don't push when the assassin is in lane, don't overextend without wards, and don't get aggressive, if you are playing against an assassin, and you get to 20 mins with 0 deaths, that's basically a won lane.

Assassins like to snowball, and in many cases need to to be effective, so just lock down the lane, stay way far back and listen to the grand Sky Williams.

Play like a bitch.

Going 0/0/0 in lane against is fine, he doesn't have a massive advantage to abuse you and the ADC with.
